Venteon is currently seeking an Account Manager  to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Farmington Hills, MI


Responsibilities of the Account Manager

Nissan Account Strategy & Relationship Management

Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy for Nissan North America.

Build and maintain strong relationships with: Purchasing, Product Planning, Vehicle Engineering, Program Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Teams.

Act as the commercial voice of the company for all Nissan-related matters.

Understand Nissan's future vehicle plans, sourcing direction, electrification roadmap, and supplier expectations.

Business Development & Growth

Identify and secure new business opportunities for Future platform programs:  ICE vehicles, Hybrid vehicles, EV programs, etc

Track Nissan vehicle lifecycle plans and sourcing timelines.

Develop growth strategies aligned with Nissan's long-term North American business objectives.

Promote the company's competitive advantages in:  Cost, Quality, Technology and Manufacturing footprint

RFQ Management & Commercial Negotiations

Lead all Nissan RFQ activities from inquiry through award.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including:  Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance and Operations.


Qualifications:

Requirements of the Account Manager

Commercial Excellence; Strategic account management, Customer negotiation, Business case development, Pricing strategy, Financial analysis;

Customer Leadership; Executive relationship management, Influence without authority, Cross-functional leadership, Conflict resolution;

Analytical Skills; Cost modeling, Market intelligence, Competitive benchmarking, Risk assessment, Volume forecasting;

5+ years of automotive OEM sales experience

Experience supporting Nissan North America preferred

Experience with automotive interiors, seating systems, or components.

Proven success in obtaining OEM business awards.

Experience negotiating with OEM procurement organizations.

Understanding of Nissan Processes:

RFQ management
Costing
VA/VE initiatives
NPQP and launch management
Cost reduction activities
Annual commercial negotiations
