Account Manager – Pharmacy Technology Services
The Account Manager , Pharmacy Technology Services (PTS) is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and client service experience for assigned clients supported by pharmacy technology platforms. This role serves as the primary client-facing point of contact, working closely with internal operational, technical, and support teams to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality service delivery. Primary Responsibilities Client & Operational Management · Own the day-to-day service experience for assigned clients. · Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and technology-related client questions and requests. · Manage intake, tracking, and coordination of client issues, requests, and escalations. · Coordinate ongoing maintenance activities such as benefit updates, eligibility files, reporting, and system access. · Ensure clear documentation, tracking, and follow-through on client actions and commitments. Cross-Functional Coordination · Translate client needs into actionable work for internal operations, technology, claims, reporting, and support teams. · Collaborate with senior account leadership on client readiness activities, renewals, and service improvements. · Participate in client and internal meetings to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Systems, Tools & Expertise · Develop working knowledge of pharmacy technology platforms, case management tools, reporting systems, and client portals. · Support client access and user setup requests in alignment with security and compliance requirements. · Generate and interpret reporting to support issue resolution and proactive client communication. · Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures and documentation. Required Qualifications · 2+ years of client-facing account management experience in healthcare, PBM, or healthcare technology environments. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications · Experience working with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) or healthcare technology systems. · Hands-on experience with or exposure to pharmacy or healthcare systems such as RxClaim or similar claims adjudication platforms. · Experience using ServiceNow or comparable case and issue management tools. · Familiarity with client portals, access management tools, eligibility files, extracts, and operational reporting. · Experience coordinating issue resolution across operations, IT, claims, and reporting teams. · Ability to quickly learn technical systems and translate complex information into clear, client-facing communication.
