Accountant/Bookkeeper (w/ US Client Experience) - WFH/Night Shift

Job Title: Accountant/Bookkeeper (US Client)

Work Setup: Remote Work-from-Home | Philippines | Full-Time l Night Shift Tech Expertise: Full Cycle Accounting and/or Bookkeeping, Administrative Tasks, Quickbooks (Desktop or Online)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
  • Prepare and update schedules, financial reports, and workpapers in Excel, including use of advanced formulas.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
  • Provide responsive, professional customer service to stakeholders.
  • Improve efficiency, accuracy, and documentation in daily workflows.
  • Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed.
Technical Skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Desktop and/or Online, as these platforms are used regularly in the role.
  • Experience with month-end close processes, including supporting bookkeeping-related tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.
Soft Skills
  • Proactive communication, particularly in asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
  • Trustworthiness and integrity, which align with CoDev’s core values and are essential for handling financial information.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt, especially when taking on new tools, systems, or responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience with Quickbooks
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • High level of English proficiency with excellent communication skills—written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal training.
