Agentic & Automation Engineer

Contract Type: Project-Based (4 mos with possible extension depending on performance and business needs)

Shift: 1PM-10PM MNL

Job Summary

Designs, builds, and supports intelligent automation workflows that connect enterprise systems and reduce manual work. The role combines workflow automation, AI integration, and reliable operational delivery while keeping appropriate human review and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build production-ready automation workflows using n8n or comparable platforms.
  • Integrate AI models, Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, and enterprise application programming interfaces (APIs).
  • Develop prompts, context handling, and memory approaches for reliable automated outcomes.
  • Connect and orchestrate ServiceNow and other enterprise systems through secure APIs.
  • Implement error handling, retries, monitoring, audit trails, and human approval steps.
  • Test, document, deploy, and maintain automation solutions across environments.
  • Work with API, architecture, quality, and delivery teams to resolve dependencies.
  • Improve workflow performance, resilience, security, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience delivering n8n workflows in a production environment.
  • Practical experience integrating MCP services and large language models (LLMs).
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and system integration.
  • Knowledge of prompt design, context management, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Experience with workflow reliability, logging, monitoring, retries, and error handling.
  • Good scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Clear communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience consuming or orchestrating ServiceNow APIs.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to AI governance, security controls, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
Other Notes
  • Full-time allocation is required.
  • Candidates should provide examples of production automation flows that include integration and operational controls.
