About the Role

Artificial Intelligence is transforming what is possible in software. We are looking for an innovative AI / Automation Engineer who wants to push the boundaries of intelligent workflows, voice agents, and automated customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Agent Development: Design, build, and orchestrate custom voice agents (Vapi), LLM pipelines (Claude), and automated workflows.
  • System Integration: Seamlessly connect AI orchestration engines with in-app SaaS features and internal operating infrastructure.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize prompt engineering, manage latency trade-offs, and solve complex edge cases.
  • Automation Engineering: Automate complex multi-step processes to make our software feel effortless to end users.
Required Qualifications

Required Skills

  • AI Orchestration & LLMs: Deep technical expertise with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI), prompt engineering, Fine-Tuning, and RAG architectures.
  • Voice & Interactive AI: Experience building real-time conversational agents using Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs, or WebRTC frameworks.
  • Workflow Automation: Advanced proficiency in workflow logic engines (Make, n8n, Zapier) and custom Python/Node.js script automation.
  • Latency & Reliability Optimization: Skilled in managing API rate limits, caching strategy, fallback logic, and minimizing latency in production AI interactions.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years in backend/software engineering with a strong specialization in building and deploying practical AI solutions over the last 2+ years.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio of deployed AI agents, complex workflow automations, or custom tool-calling integrations in production software environments.
  • Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, REST APIs, Webhooks, and vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, PGVector).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong adaptability and curiosity to test, learn, and implement rapidly evolving AI frameworks into existing products.
