Aircraft Mechanic A (A&P / Avionics)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • With at least 6 years experience in heavy maintenance on A320/A330/B737/B777 aircrafts.
  • Must have recent certifying experience for 6 months in the last 24 months.
  • At least CRS and or MR authorization holder.
  • Must have A320/A330/B737 and B777 aircraft type ratings and trainings.
  • A holder of a valid CAAP AMT License with A&P / Avionics rating.
  • A graduate of Bachelor/ Associate in Aircraft Maintenance Technology.
  • With good knowledge and skills with aircraft maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The inspector is responsible to the unit chief for:

  • The Aircraft Mechanic A is responsible to the Deputy Unit Chief and Inspector for overseeing and leading the team of Mechanics within his direct control in the performance of aircraft maintenance activities to meet scheduled target as Deputy Unit Chief and Inspector.
  • The general supervision, conduct and discipline of Mechanics and Trainees within his direct control.
  • The monitoring and maintaining of a high level of housekeeping within the workspace and bring to the attention of the Unit Chief, Deputy Unit Chief and Inspectors on matters relate general safety, industrial practices and the condition of support and operational equipment and tooling.
  • Assist the Deputy Unit Chief in the assessment of staff performance and administration of disputes.
  • Implement new regulatory system or administrative matters, identifying and tagging of items removed from aircraft for safe keeping, and documenting non-routine tasks performed on Supplementary Job Cards (SJC).
  • Such other duties as assigned by Deputy Unit Chief/Unit Chief.
