Assistant Insurance Broker - Construction Industry Experience Required

Coverforce is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker Assistant to join our dynamic team in Makati. In this role, you will work closely with an SME Broker to deliver tailored insurance solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the construction industry.

This is a full-time position offering flexible work arrangements with four days working from home and one day in our Makati office.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Engage with SME clients to understand their unique insurance needs under the guidance of your broker.

  • Research and analyse the market to identify the most suitable insurance products and providers, working closely with your broker.

  • Prepare comprehensive insurance proposals and assist with other ad hoc tasks as required by your broker(s).

  • Manage policy transactions, including pre-renewals, renewal packages, new business, endorsements, adjustments, and quotations.

  • Negotiate with insurance providers to secure optimal coverage and terms for clients, subject to broker approval.

  • Liaise with clients to explain policy details and provide claims management support.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of SME clients.

  • Support the development and implementation of innovative insurance solutions for the SME market.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Insurance Broker Assistant, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with the following insurance products: Builders Warranty and Contract Works Insurance, Construction Liability & Worker’s Compensation.

  • Experience preparing quotations using Sunrise and SCTP through the WINBEAT system.

  • Experience with, and a strong understanding of, premium funding systems.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, industry practices, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and provide tailored insurance recommendations.

  • Tier 1 Insurance Certification is required.
