Asst. Production Planner
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in production planning, manufacturing, production coordination, inventory control, or a related field.
Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in a relevant field.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with ERP or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
Ability to prepare production schedules, work orders, reports, and planning documents.
Good understanding of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and production resource requirements.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining planning and inventory data.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work effectively with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams.
Ability to work under pressure and manage changing production priorities.
Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry.
Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, available resources, and delivery requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Sales departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production resources.
Monitor production progress against approved schedules and update plans to address delays, machine downtime, material shortages, or changes in customer requirements.
Prepare and release production work orders in accordance with approved production plans and schedules.
Track inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods to support uninterrupted production.
Monitor material availability and coordinate with relevant departments regarding shortages, replenishment requirements, and delivery schedules.
Monitor machine utilization and manpower allocation to support efficient production planning and resource utilization.
Update production planning information, schedules, work orders, inventory data, and other relevant information in the ERP or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, planning summaries, and KPI reports for management.
Monitor production performance and identify potential scheduling issues that may affect delivery commitments.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department regarding production priorities, inspection requirements, and product release schedules.
Assist in minimizing production downtime by ensuring the timely availability of materials, manpower, equipment, and other resources.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department regarding machine availability and planned maintenance activities that may affect production schedules.
Maintain accurate production planning records, work orders, schedules, reports, and other documentation.
Assist in monitoring production capacity and identifying opportunities for improved machine and manpower utilization.
Support production rescheduling and prioritization
