Barista/Cashier
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Welcome and greet customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Assist customers with menu selections and address inquiries promptly.
- Ensure a positive dining experience through excellent service.
- Sales and Upselling
- Recommend menu items, add-ons, and promotions to customers.
- Practice suggestive selling to increase sales while meeting customer needs.
- Order Taking and Service
- Receive and process customer orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve orders correctly and within the company's service time standards.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Food Preparation and Safety
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes and operating procedures.
- Follow sanitation, hygiene, and food safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Cash Handling
- Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain proper cash accountability and balanced cash register.
- Participate in spot audits and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Teamwork and Cooperation
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure smooth store operations.
- Assist teammates during peak hours and when operational needs require additional support.
- Promote a positive and cooperative work environment.
- Attendance and Professionalism
- Report to work on time and maintain excellent attendance.
- Wear the complete company uniform and maintain proper grooming and personal hygiene.
- Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Discipline and Compliance
- Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Respect the chain of command and perform assigned responsibilities responsibly.
- Observe workplace discipline and maintain ethical conduct.
- Inventory and Stock Monitoring
- Assist in accurate stock counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and immediately report low, running-out, or unavailable items.
- Help maintain proper storage and stock organization to minimize waste and shortages.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent; college-level education is an advantage.
- Experience in food service, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory counting.
- Dependable, disciplined, and a team player.
Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: Php600.00 per day
