Your role:

As BPO Finance and Accounting Pre-Sales Consultant, you will serve as the subject matter expert for transactional and operational Finance & Accounting services, supporting client discussions, solution design, implementations, and delivery readiness.

  • Lead client discovery conversations to understand accounting processes, transaction volumes, systems, controls, and operational requirements.
  • Translate client requirements into practical and scalable Finance & Accounting solutions.
  • Lead implementation, onboarding, knowledge transfer, training, workflow validation, and go-live activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, Delivery, Recruiting, Sales, Account Management, Client Success, Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Guide delivery teams on accounting systems, workflows, approval processes, controls, exception handling, and SOPs.
  • Support recruiting and training by defining role requirements, reviewing candidates, and contributing to readiness plans.
  • Develop and improve service offerings, SOPs, playbooks, workflows, and best practices.
  • Educate internal teams on Finance & Accounting capabilities, processes, terminology, and client use cases.
  • Stay updated on accounting technologies, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and industry best practices.
  • Provide post-launch advisory support for operational issues, performance trends, controls, and process improvements.


Finance & Accounting Expertise

You should have strong experience in several of the following areas:

  • Accounts Payable: vendor management, invoice and expense processing
  • Accounts Receivable: customer accounts, collections, billing, and invoicing
  • Payment application and cash processing
  • Bank, account, and balance-sheet reconciliations
  • Bookkeeping, general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close support
  • Financial reporting and financial data validation
  • Approval workflows, segregation of duties, audit trails, and access controls
  • Operational metrics such as accuracy, turnaround time, aging, exception rates, reconciliation completion, and close support
  • Experience across every Finance & Accounting function is not required. Strong transactional and operational accounting experience across several functions is the priority.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of Finance & Accounting experience, with substantial exposure to transactional or operational accounting.
  • 3–5 years of BPO experience.
  • Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes, controls, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to confidently lead client-facing conversations with operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of approval workflows, segregation of duties, audit trails, confidentiality, and financial controls.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills for reviewing, organizing, reconciling, and validating financial data.
  • Excellent English communication, presentation, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Willingness to work 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in client implementations, onboarding, process transitions, migrations, solutions design, or pre-sales.
  • Background as a Senior Accountant, Team Lead, Trainer, QA Specialist, or Operations Supervisor.
  • Experience creating or reviewing process maps, approval matrices, accounting calendars, SOPs, or training materials.
  • Familiarity with accounting and ERP platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Xero.
  • Experience across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable or multiple transactional accounting functions.
  • Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices and terminology.
  • Professional credentials such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar qualifications.
