Job Description

About the role

ServiceNow's APAC Sales organisation is at an inflection point—growing new markets, deepening strategic partnerships, and building the GTM infrastructure that will define the region's next chapter. The Chief of Staff to the President, Sales APAC is a high-impact, execution-driven leadership role at the centre of that work.

This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. You will amplify the President's capacity and directly execute on strategic initiatives that sit across and between Sales, Strategy, and GTM functions. You will knit together cross-functional teams, move priority programs from concept to outcome, and operate as a trusted advisor and sounding board to one of ServiceNow's most senior Sales leaders in the region.

The best candidate for this role is someone who thrives without a playbook, brings a growth mindset to every challenge, and is as comfortable in a customer conversation as they are in a planning session with the leadership team.

What you get to do in this role

Strategic execution & regional growth

  • Partner directly with the President to define, prioritise, and drive the APAC Sales agenda—translating strategy into executable plans
  • Orchestrate and drive cross-functional programs critical to regional growth that don't sit neatly within existing structures
  • Support new market entry and geographic expansion initiatives across APAC
  • Build and accelerate strategic partnerships by owning coordination across Sales, Alliances, and GTM functions

Cross-functional leadership

  • Act as the primary point of contact for teams supporting APAC Sales (Sales Operations, Solutions Consulting, Field Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Alliances and Channels)
  • Work across matrix teams to align priorities, goals, and execution cadence
  • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguity—operating effectively in fast-moving, high-stakes environment

Executive presence & relationships

  • Engage with internal cross-functional stakeholders and external customers on behalf of the President
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships at senior levels across the organisation and with key external partners
  • Support talent development within the APAC Sales leadership team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have

Experience

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • 10+ years of experience in field sales, GTM strategy, sales operations, or a Chief of Staff role—in a matrixed enterprise software environment
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with senior executive stakeholders in a high-velocity, high-stakes environment
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional programs from ambiguity to execution and measurable outcome
  • Deep experience working across APAC markets—understanding of regional GTM dynamics, partner ecosystems, and cultural nuances
  • Prior exposure to customer-facing GTM work (sales, solutions consulting, alliances, partnerships) strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification preferred

Skills and capabilities

  • Super collaborative—works across functions and levels without friction; earns trust quickly with peers, executives, and external partners
  • Growth mindset—approaches every challenge with curiosity and optimism; helps develop long-term strategic plans and build new capabilities
  • Trusted and approachable—leads with humility, prioritises team and business outcomes over personal visibility, and builds followership through credibility rather than title
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker—able to synthesise data, identify patterns, and frame clear recommendations for senior leaders
  • Operationally rigorous with a bias toward action—gets things done in complex, matrixed environments
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence without authority at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
