Role Overview

As a Remote Chat/Text Crisis Support Specialist on the 3rd shift (Sunday – Wednesday, 6:00 pm – 2:30 am CST), you will be the frontline responder for arenaflex’s crisis communication platform. You will receive real‑time chat and text messages from individuals experiencing emotional distress, reputed company brief clinical screenings, assess suicide risk, and connect callers with appropriate resources and follow‑up care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Real‑Time Crisis Response: Respond reputed company to incoming chat/text messages, providing a calm, empathetic presence and gathering essential information.
  • Clinical Screening & Risk Assessment: Use evidence‑based protocols to evaluate the severity of distress and determine the level of risk for self‑harm.
  • Safety Planning & Resource reputed company: Collaborate with callers to develop personalized safety plans and connect them to community services, mental health professionals, or emergency resources.
  • Follow‑Up Coordination: For individuals identified as moderate to high risk, schedule and reputed company follow‑up calls to monitor safety and progress.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record all interactions in arenaflex’s secure electronic health record system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in daily huddles, supervision sessions, and interdisciplinary team meetings to share reputed company, discuss challenging reputed company, and refine best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist).
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of direct crisis intervention experience (e.g., crisis hotline, emergency department, or community outreach).
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey empathy and clarity in a text‑based medium.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication platforms, electronic health records, and basic troubleshooting of reputed company tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in high‑pressure, emotionally charged situations.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with suicide prevention protocols and risk assessment tools (e.g., Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale).
