Job Description:

Type of Requirement- Content moderation (Excellent Written & Verbal Communication is a must)

Designation: Associate

Required Skills:

  • Excellent fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Driven to deliver an excellent customer experience through resolutions and adherence to response times.

Skills Set Required:

  • Excellent English written communication skills (MUST HAVE)
  • Strong email writing skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to solve customer queries via email.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Monitor, moderate user-generated content such as comments. Moderate publisher-generated content against preset Customer guidelines.

2. Approval/ rejection of content/ comments in compliance & non-compliance with customer guidelines, respectively.

3. Keep track, be aware of news, current affairs, especially international markets like the US.

4. Identify gaps/ gray areas in policies & guidelines based on ground truth data.

5. Store, document edge cases, nuanced examples among moderated content to create referenceable repositories.

Key Skills:

1. Experience as a content moderator, social media moderator or equivalent newsroom experience print/ digital/ TV

2. Familiarity with news & media editorial policies

3. Fluent English skills oral and written. Excellent comprehension skills - C2 English level

4. Ability to work under pressure and make sound judgment calls

5. Degree in journalism/ communication/ English or similar field

6. English expert level certifications
