Contract Screenwriter for TV Series
Job Title: Contract Screenwriter for TV Series – GROWING UP WITH KIDS
Location: REMOTE
Job Type: CONTRACT
Company: WFF
About the Show:
A one-hour ensemble comedy about the social evolution of adults as they raise kids. Growing Up With Kids is a witty, feel-good comedy that follows adult friendships as their wild nights out slowly morph into awkward “mom friend” blind dates, kids’ birthday parties with beer pong and wine-fueled dinner parties with baby monitors in tow. They go from completely irresponsible to completely responsible and back again as they navigate the hilarious and humbling evolution and chaos of parenting at different ages. As their kids grow more independent, they find themselves rediscovering old habits in new forms—think backyard BBQs with craft beer, board games instead of bar tabs, and a lot more day drinking instead of late nights out. It’s a hilarious ride through the awkward, exhausting, and unexpectedly fun phases of growing up while raising kids.
