Conveyancing Paralegal | Remote | Dayshift

ZigZag** is looking for an offshore paralegal / assistant to join our client's practice.

About the Role

It is a Conveyancing / Property Paralegal role that will also function as a legal assistant. It is a mix of helping with property tasks and then more general admin tasks like file opening and management, billing, sending DocuSigns etc.

What You'll Own

  • File and calendar management
  • Assisting with billing and property matters such as conveyancing and leasing
    • Expertise needed for conveyancing across NSW (and ideally also VIC and QLD) from contract review until settlement – ideally without the need for supervision from the partners
  • Preparing and drafting simple legal documents such as company records and secretarial work (minutes, resolutions, certificates, notices)
  • Drafting simple correspondence such as letters of demand, cover letters, and day to day email correspondence
  • Assisting with client communication and management
  • Submitting ASIC lodgments, company incorporations, trust preparations, and other government forms
  • Liaising with third-parties, other law firms, government agencies and referral partners

  • Conducting legal research

  • Proofreading documents
  • Other assistant work for the partners

What We're Looking For
  • Experience with PEXA and conveyancing in NSW
  • Experience in law firm billing, file opening etc
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, DocuSign, Gmail, CAS360
