Cost Junior Engineer

Job Description:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, detailed cost estimates, unit rate analyses, BOQs, and cost breakdowns based on project drawings, specifications and requirements.

  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of project budgets, technical and commercial proposals, supplier/ subcontractor quotations, and value engineering alternatives.

  • Coordinate with Design, Planning, procurement and construction teams for cost validation, pricing updates, design changes, and maintenance of project cost and estimating records.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Preferably with 2 years experience in cost estimating, cost engineering, quantity surveying, or construction engineering however fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Proficient in quantity take-off, cost-estimating, and preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

  • Knowledgeable in unit cost analysis covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect costs.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, working knowledge of AutoCAD and other quantity take-off/ estimating tools is an advantage.

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bid/tender documents.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and communication skills with good attention to detail.

  • Willing to work in Mandaluyong.

  • Can do site visit if needed.

Pay: Php22,000.00 - Php23,900.00 per month
