Credit Analyst II – Healthcare, G&I
Job Description:
- Partner with Portfolio Managers on credit and underwriting activities
- Perform analytical tasks and identify credit risks or issues
- Draft documentation and prepare for credit reviews
- Complete indicative credit information in banking systems
- Prepare risk-rating scorecards and tickler event analyses
- Develop risk models and advise Portfolio Managers of obstacles
- Identify monitoring analysis activities and verify covenant updates
- Monitor covenant completion and recommend actions for past-due or noncompliant covenants
- Assess covenant compliance reporting and review compliance certificates
- Update financial covenants and calculations
- Run Probability of Default, risk, projection, and other models with oversight
- Evaluate completed spreads and recommend portfolio management actions
- Prepare ALSR reports
- Complete underwriting processes and CAMs with limited oversight
- Review and rewrite renewals for deals of limited complexity
- Conduct portfolio analysis and develop Portfolio Reviews for client meetings
- Support Portfolio Managers and special projects
- Resolve deficiencies and escalate questions or disputes
- Assist with training new employees as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- 2+ years of Commercial Banking experience
- Sound understanding of financial and risk analysis
- Ability to develop financial models
- Extensive knowledge of banking products and services
- Knowledge of corporate business structures and legal documents
- General knowledge of U.S. government and regulations
- Proficiency in internal banking applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge of the local or regional market preferred, but not required
- Minimal travel required
