Customer Service Representative, Insurance

Job Description:

  • Answer inbound calls and assist members with questions about insurance policies and AAA memberships
  • Deliver personalized, proactive solutions and recommend valuable products and services
  • Engage with members using strong communication and a friendly, problem-solving mindset
  • Think quickly and critically to resolve issues in a non-scripted environment
  • Navigate multiple systems and tools while actively listening and multitasking
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Participate in ongoing coaching and development to enhance performance
  • Complete a 100% virtual training program lasting approximately four months
  • Work full-time post-training shifts scheduled Monday–Friday and every Saturday, with one weekday off each week

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service experience; recent call center experience preferred
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems in real time
  • Flexible, “can-do” mindset and willingness to adapt to change
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must reside within the State of Ohio
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace without interruptions
  • Ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet; no DSL, satellite, or hot spots
  • Modem/router in the same room as computer equipment
  • Minimum internet speed of 50–100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold productivity and confidentiality in a remote setting
  • Regular attendance in virtual team meetings and training sessions
  • Availability during standard business hours and flexibility for possible shift adjustments
