Customer Support & Discord Community Associate

VoiceOS | Remote | Part-time | 20 hours/week | USD $3,000/month

Role

VoiceOS is a Y Combinator-backed startup building a voice interface for your computer. This role combines frontline support with hands-on Discord community management.

Schedule and pay

USD $3,000/month for 20 scheduled coverage hours per week. Coverage includes queue monitoring, support replies, Discord work, user-feedback calls, training, and assigned work. Hours are agreed before start. We strongly prefer someone U.S.-based or able to work reliably in a U.S. time zone, ideally overlapping U.S. business hours. The 3-5 minute average first-response target and 15-minute maximum apply only during agreed staffed hours. No unpaid availability is expected outside those hours.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to support tickets and Discord questions; help with onboarding and basic troubleshooting; escalate complex cases.
  • Manage Discord: answer support questions, remove scams and spam under VoiceOS moderation rules, and prevent questions from being lost.
  • Post VoiceOS-provided announcements in Discord.
  • Conduct scheduled user-feedback calls or meetings when requested, then document and share insights.
  • Keep tickets current and surface recurring issues.

Requirements

  • Native-level or highly proficient spoken and written English, including for user-feedback calls.
  • Customer-support plus Discord or online-community management experience. SaaS or AI experience is a plus.
  • Reliable internet, computer, and dependable 20-hour weekly availability, ideally in a U.S. time zone.
  • Strong judgment with user data and escalations.

To apply

Share relevant support and Discord experience, your location or time zone, exact available hours and days, confirmation of U.S.-business-hours overlap and English user-call ability, plus an example reply to: "VoiceOS stopped working, and I'm frustrated because I'm paying for it." Finalists complete a short paid support simulation.
