About the job

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Depositary Administrator will support the delivery of depositary services across a portfolio of fund structures, ensuring compliance with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) through cash monitoring, asset verification, and operational oversight activities.

  • Review and assess governing documentation for client entities
  • Perform daily cash monitoring and reconciliation activities across client bank accounts
  • Verify and maintain records of financial and non-financial assets throughout their lifecycle
  • Conduct oversight reviews of fund operations, procedures, controls, and reporting processes
  • Review subscription agreements, capital call notices, and distributions to ensure compliance with fund documentation
  • Monitor fund activities to ensure adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and key stakeholders
  • Produce quarterly and annual compliance and oversight reports for clients
  • Escalate potential risks, issues, or breaches to senior management where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems in line with company procedures
  • Support ongoing process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance service delivery
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and additional duties as required


Your skills & experience

  • Previous experience within accounting, finance, audit, fund administration, compliance, or financial services (Essential)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities (Essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work (Essential)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Essential)
  • Experience reviewing financial statements, legal documentation, or complex data sets (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective client relationships (Essential)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (Essential)
  • Ability to work independently while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities (Essential)
  • Interest in financial services, investment funds, and working within a regulated environment (Essential)
  • Experience within depositary, fund administration, asset management, or investment operations environments (Desirable)
