Key Responsibilities The Digital Marketing Specialist is an entry-level role supporting the setup, launch, monitoring, quality assurance, reporting, and ongoing maintenance of digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. Working under the guidance of experienced team members, the specialist will develop core Ad Operations skills while delivering accurate and timely work and coordinating primarily with internal teams. Client-facing communication may be required depending on the team assignment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with data and technology, and motivated to build a career in digital advertising. Relevant experience is preferred but not required. Alloyed provides general Ad Operations training followed by platform-specific, process-specific, and client-specific training based on team assignment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Campaign Setup and Execution
  • Support the setup, trafficking, launch, and maintenance of digital advertising campaigns across ad servers, buying platforms, social platforms, search platforms, and other campaign-management systems.
  • Enter and maintain campaign information, including dates, budgets, targeting instructions, creative assets, tracking URLs, naming conventions, and delivery requirements.
  • Upload and assign creative assets and assist with the implementation and validation of tags, pixels, click trackers, and other measurement components.
  • Review campaign setup against approved instructions, media plans, and internal documentation, and complete pre-launch and post-launch quality assurance checks.
  • Campaign Monitoring, Reporting, and Optimization Support
  • Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, spend, creative status, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Identify delivery issues, discrepancies, missing assets, incorrect settings, or unexpected campaign behavior and escalate them appropriately.
  • Prepare recurring reports, pacing summaries, screenshots, status updates, and other operational materials using Microsoft Excel and related tools.
  • Support routine campaign revisions and optimizations under guidance and verify that requested changes have been implemented correctly.
  • Quality Assurance, Documentation, and Compliance
  • Follow standard operating procedures, campaign instructions, quality assurance checklists, service-level expectations, naming standards, and established escalation paths.
  • Perform self-QA checks and participate in peer-review or secondary quality assurance processes when required.
  • Maintain accurate campaign trackers and records and clearly document identified issues, actions taken, and final resolutions.
  • Protect confidential client and company information by following applicable information-security, access-control, and data-handling requirements.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development
  • Communicate progress, questions, risks, and completed work clearly and professionally with team leads and other internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients or external partners when required by the assigned team or account.
  • Complete Alloyed's general Ad Operations training and all assignment-specific platform, process, and client training.
  • Apply feedback, expand technical knowledge, and adapt to changing priorities, client requirements, platform functionality, and team procedures.

Qualifications And Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Up to one year of relevant professional, internship, or practical experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in digital advertising, advertising technology, media operations, or campaign management.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting, structured data, and spreadsheet-based reporting, with the capacity to learn more advanced functionality quickly.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, identify inconsistencies, investigate problems, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, accept feedback, apply corrections, and adapt to changing technologies and business requirements.
  • Professional judgment when handling confidential company and client information.

Preferred Experience And Knowledge
  • Previous experience, internship exposure, coursework, or training related to digital advertising, marketing, media, data analysis, campaign operations, or advertising technology.
  • Exposure to Ad Operations or campaign management across programmatic, paid social, paid search, display, video, connected television, audio, or other digital channels.
  • Familiarity with campaign trafficking, creative quality assurance, campaign monitoring, reporting, screenshots, tracking implementation, or campaign optimization.
  • Basic understanding of common digital advertising concepts, including impressions, clicks, click-through rate, conversions, pacing, budgets, targeting, creative specifications, tags, pixels, and URLs.
  • Familiarity with one or more common platforms, such as Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, FreeWheel, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Operative, or similar tools.
  • Experience working in an environment where accuracy, deadlines, quality assurance, and documented procedures are important.
