Door Supervisor (SIA) for LGBTQ+ Pub

Job Summary:

We are an LGBTQ+ safe space and as such are seeking a reliable and experienced Door Supervisor to join our team. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and team members. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access to the premises, and ensuring compliance with security procedures and monitoring capacity.

Duties:- Control access to the premises by verifying identification etc

- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of customers and team

- Respond promptly to any disturbances or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary

- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with enquiries or concerns

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required

- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities

Skills:

  • Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Well-presented with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in security roles, preferably within LGBTQ+ events or LGBTQ+ bars/club settings
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing a high level of customer service
