Experienced AppFolio Bookkeeper – Multi Property Portfolio

We are looking for a detail driven bookkeeper who is highly experienced in AppFolio and comfortable managing financials across multiple properties, owners, and accounts. This is a key role that requires accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability.

This Role Is Not a Fit If:

  • You need frequent follow up to complete tasks
  • You take more than 24 business hours to respond to communication
  • You are not confident reconciling accounts independently

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience using AppFolio for apartments or mobile home parks
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple owners and property level accounting
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and standard accounting practices
  • Ability to keep books fully current and organized at all times

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile accounts across multiple properties
  • Ensure all transactions are properly categorized and recorded
  • Work with owners and managers to ensure all income and expenses are properly tracked and recorded
  • Deliver accurate, timely financials with no backlog

Work Structure:

  • Remote position with flexible hours
  • One standing weekly meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. MST
  • Small, fun, upbeat team that is focused and easy to work with

Compensation:

  • Based on experience and capability
