As a GSE Mechanic , you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance of motorized vehicles and aircraft ground support equipment. Your work ensures safe, reliable, and efficient ground operations that support on-time flight departures and overall operational excellence.What Youāll Do
- Ensure that 1Aviationās Mission, Vision, and Values are achieved.
- Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards based on regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Inspect mechanical systems and related equipment to diagnose malfunctions and identify corrective actions.
- Repair, overhaul, or modify mechanical and electrical components of motorized vehicles and ground servicing equipment.
- Test and adjust mechanical units and assemblies in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Execute assigned tasks efficiently and cost-effectively to maximize utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
- Complete and sign off required company and regulatory maintenance records and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on all aircraft ground support equipment.
- Secure and update ramp operations and AMA-GECN driving permits.
- Ensure completeness and serviceability of assigned hand tools.
- Assist the GSE Supervisor in accomplishing maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Dispatch and receive motorized GSE to and from Equipment Operators in good working condition.
- Assist Below-the-Wing (BTW) full ground support operations, including GPU, ACU, and ASU usage.
- Conduct weekly inspections of motorized GSE.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the GSE Supervisor.
- At least 2nd year college level
- With experience in automotive or mechanical maintenance
- TESDA NC II Certification is an advantage
- Must possess a valid Driverās License (Restrictions 1, 2, 3)
- Restrictions 4 & 8 are an advantage
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Safety-conscious and disciplined in following procedures
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced airport operations environment
