Head of Marketplace (Amazon Sales)

<p><span>Truegenics Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based e-commerce company with a track record of more than US$218 million in online product sales. We develop and market our own brands of health supplements and beauty products to customers around the world.<br><br></span></p> <p><span>As we continue to grow our Amazon business, we are looking for a commercially strong and hands-on Head of Marketplace for Amazon Sales to take ownership of the channel across our portfolio of brands.</span></p> <p><span><br>Mission of the Role: The Head of Marketplace for Amazon Sales will be responsible for independently running and growing Truegenics’ Amazon business. You will own Amazon channel performance across revenue, profitability, advertising, marketplace execution, product launches, inventory health and day-to-day commercial decision-making.<br><br></span></p> <p><span>This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can set direction, identify what is driving or limiting performance, make sound commercial decisions and personally step into the details when required. Success will be measured by the ability to grow Amazon profitably, solve problems proactively and build a more scalable and effective Amazon operation.</span></p> <p><span><br>Key Responsibilities</span></p> <p><span>Amazon P&L & Growth</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Own Amazon revenue, profitability, advertising efficiency, pricing, promotions and overall channel performance across multiple brands</span></li> <li><span>Develop growth plans, forecasts and targets and identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.</span></li> <li><span>Regularly assess performance and make clear recommendations on where to invest, optimise or change direction.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>Advertising & Marketplace Performance</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Own Amazon PPC and advertising performance, including ACOS, TACOS, ROAS and overall advertising profitability.</span></li> <li><span>Improve organic rankings, traffic and conversion through keyword strategy, listing optimisation, content, pricing, promotions and reviews.</span></li> <li><span>Maintain strong account and marketplace health and resolve material Seller Central, listing, compliance or operational issues.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>Product & Portfolio Growth</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Lead Amazon launches for new products and brands, including keyword strategy, advertising, inventory, pricing, reviews and ranking.</span></li> <li><span>Monitor ASIN-level performance and identify which products should be scaled, improved, repositioned or deprioritised.</span></li> <li><span>Stay close to category, competitor and marketplace developments and translate these into commercial actions.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>Inventory & Commercial Planning</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Work closely with Supply Chain and Finance to align sales forecasts, inventory purchasing and FBA requirements.</span></li> <li><span>Maintain healthy stock availability while managing inventory turns, excess inventory, storage costs and cash-flow considerations.</span></li> <li><span>Anticipate inventory requirements arising from growth, promotions, launches and seasonality.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>Team, Systems & Reporting</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Lead the small Amazon team and manage external agencies or specialist partners where appropriate.</span></li> <li><span>Set clear priorities, KPIs and accountability for the resources supporting Amazon.</span></li> <li><span>Build practical SOPs, dashboards and operating processes that improve consistency and allow the channel to scale.</span></li> <li><span>Provide management with concise reporting that explains what happened, why it happened and what actions should be taken next.</span></li> <li><span>Use AI, automation and technology to improve productivity, accelerate analysis and decision-making, and continuously improve Amazon performance and operating efficiency. </span></li> </ul> <p><span><br>Key Requirements</span></p> <ul> <li><span>5–8 years of relevant e-commerce, marketplace or digital commerce experience, with meaningful responsibility for Amazon.</span></li> <li><span>At least 3 years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience, preferably within the US marketplace.</span></li> <li><span>Proven ability to grow Amazon revenue and improve commercial performance.</span></li> <li><span>Experience managing or materially influencing Amazon P&L, including revenue, margins, advertising spend, pricing and forecasting.</span></li> <li><span>Strong knowledge of Amazon PPC, ACOS/TACOS, keyword strategy, rankings, listing optimisation and conversion.</span></li> <li><span>Good understanding of Amazon FBA, inventory planning and marketplace operations.</span></li> <li><span>Experience managing multiple products and/or brands.</span></li> <li><span>Strong analytical ability and comfort working with Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards and performance data.</span></li> <li><span>Commercially minded and able to balance growth, profitability, inventory and cash-flow considerations.</span></li> <li><span>Hands-on, proactive and comfortable solving problems without waiting for detailed direction.</span></li> <li><span>Able to lead a small team and work effectively across Supply Chain, Finance, Creative and other internal functions.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>Experience in supplements, health, beauty or other competitive consumer categories would be advantageous.</span></p> <p><span><br>The Ideal Candidate</span></p> <p><span>The ideal candidate operates like the owner of the Amazon channel. </span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span>When performance changes, you do not simply report the numbers. You investigate what caused the change and determine whether the issue is advertising, conversion, ranking, pricing, inventory, competition or the product itself. You are comfortable moving between strategy and execution. </span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span>You can build a growth plan, review channel profitability, challenge an agency, analyse an underperforming product and go directly into Seller Central when required. You actively use AI, automation and technology to work smarter, move faster and improve performance, while applying sound commercial judgment to the outputs. You do not need a large team or extensive layers of support to get things done. You are resourceful, commercially sharp and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment. </span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span>Most importantly, you take ownership.
