You'll be on-site evaluating progress, digging into project documentation and data, and keeping schedules current and accurate. This position calls for sound independent judgment, weighing trade-offs and understanding the financial and operational stakes tied to the work you deliver.<br><br>What You'll Do:<br><ul><li> Lead schedule development and manage ongoing updates throughout the planning and construction lifecycle</li><li> Investigate project schedules, cost records, and supporting documentation to conduct forensic and delay analysis</li><li> Visit construction sites regularly to assess progress against plan</li><li> Sort through and organize large volumes of project records and data</li><li> Analyze the root causes and duration of schedule delays to support resolution of construction claims</li><li> Track productivity trends, extended general conditions, and cost escalation tied to schedule slippage</li><li> Evaluate how project changes and delays ripple through timelines, and communicate those impacts clearly to stakeholders</li><li> Act as a client-facing resource for managing budgets, timelines, and other cost/efficiency drivers across all construction phases</li><li> Compile findings into clear, well-organized technical reports</li><li> Keep project files and deliverables organized and current</li><li> Coordinate regularly with internal teams, contractors, and clients</li><li> Take on additional responsibilities as needed<br></li></ul>What You Bring:<br><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, engineering, or a related field</li><li> 1-3 years experience working for a General Contractor (GC) on a construction site as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer or Superintendent</li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar program</li><li> Comfortable working solo or as part of a collaborative team</li><li> Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a range of stakeholders</li><li> Willingness to travel roughly 25-35% to job sites and client locations</li><li> EIT, PE, PMP, or PSP credentials a plus<br><br></li></ul>Interested in hearing more?
