Role Description This full-time remote role is for a Licensed Health Insurance professional, and newly licensed individuals are welcome. The role involves assisting customers in understanding health insurance plans, benefits, and coverage options, while ensuring clear and compliant explanations.
Daily tasks include responding to inquiries via phone or digital channels, guiding customers through enrollment processes, and supporting plan changes or renewals. The individual will use consultative sales techniques to match customers with appropriate health insurance products, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies. Collaboration with team members, participation in ongoing training, and contribution to a positive and customer-focused work environment are important aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction and active listening abilities.
- Candidates should possess Health Insurance and Insurance knowledge, including understanding of plan structures, benefits, and basic regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, focusing on empathy, problem-solving, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including consultative selling, objection handling, and the ability to match customer needs with suitable products.
- Active health insurance license (or newly obtained license) in applicable state(s), with willingness to maintain and update credentials as required.
- Comfort with remote work, including reliable internet access, time management, and ability to work with digital tools and CRM systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, healthcare, or related fields is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a call center, insurance, healthcare, or customer-facing environment is preferred but not required for newly licensed applicants.

Non-peak M-F 8AM-8PM CSTPeak M-F 7AM-10PM CST; Sat 8AM-4PM CST

Overtime- There may be additional times outside of Saturday that you may be asked for overtime during peak season October 1st – December 7th
