Live Crab Handler

One Ocean Sea Products, a family owned business located in Bellingham, functions as a middleman who moves crab from fishermen to retailers. We operate through our main warehouse in Bellingham along with docks located in Blaine, Anacortes and Westport. Currently we are looking for full time general laborers that can assist in a variety of tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to, maintaining the warehouse, the equipment and the inventory, unloading boats, assisting in packing air shipments, delivering local drop offs and driving company trucks. We are actively in the midst of our coastal season and are specifically looking for workers who are capable of driving company vehicles between Bellingham and Westport. However, as the seasons progress, expect more outdoor dock work. We do our best to provide proper scheduling but because we often work around our fishermen’s schedules, hours can be varied from week to week. Starting wages range from $19-$22/hr with overtime being time and a half. No experience needed and training will be provided.

Requirements:

A drivers license and a clean driving record
Reliable personal transportation for traveling to the warehouse. (You’re not expected to use your personal vehicle for anything else)
Need to be capable of lifting 75 Ibs and need to be capable of lifting for multiple hours a day
Must be at least 21 years old
Flexible availability
Willing to work outside
Must be willing to handle live crab (Yes, they do pinch)
