Mandarin Speaking Warehouse Operative

Location: Manchester, M8

Salary: From £12.92per hour 
Hours: Flexible shifts, weekdays, weekends, AM's, PM's and Nights

Job Description:
As a General Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure stock is stored, handled, and distributed efficiently. The role involves working closely with other team members to meet daily targets while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles – Heavy lifting
  • Storing goods in the correct locations within the warehouse
  • Conducting regular stock checks and inventory management
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organised
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if required)
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Heavy lifting required, up to 20kg

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • English speaking
  • Additional Language of Mandarin is advantageous
