Medical Scribes Team Lead

Job Description:

  • Plan daily workflow and assignments
  • Monitor productivity and the 40-chart target
  • Manage coverage, pending tasks, and workload
  • Audit scribe documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Track quality trends and provide weekly reports
  • Conduct coaching and performance reviews
  • Create improvement plans and apply feedback
  • Prepare weekly production and issue reports
  • Provide leadership updates
  • Train and onboard new scribes
  • Provide ongoing support, feedback, and escalation
  • Convert transcribed diagnostic test results, procedures, and consultation notes into applicable report formats
  • Type out full forms of medical abbreviations and acronyms, as well as formal versions of medical jargon
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve overall customer experience

Requirements:

  • Graduate of any medical course
  • At least 6 months of Team Lead, Supervisory, or SME experience
  • At least 2 years of Medical Scribe or Transcriptionist experience
  • Experience with ECW
  • Typing speed averaging 50–60 WPM
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Amenable to working night shift
