Your Role:

As a Mid Graphic Designer, you will:

  • Catalog Layout (InDesign): Build and format multi-page catalog spreads based on supplied pagination maps; apply creative offer layouts according to brand style guides.
  • Email & Web Asset Production: Layout promotional email offers inside established templates; crop, slice, and optimize images in Photoshop for web integration.
  • Image Processing & Asset Management: Color-correct and retouch library images; generate web-ready image variations and maintain organized file archives.
  • In-Store Ticket Generation: Create store pricing signage and offer tickets using Adobe InDesign and automated mail merge processes.
  • Proofing & Compliance: Self-audit artwork to verify pricing, copy, and offer accuracy; export and upload PDFs to digital proofing/annotation software (e.g., Ziflow, Workfront Proof).
  • Studio Workflow & Collaboration: Complete daily ad-hoc design tasks, take creative direction from Senior Designers or the Art Director, participate in daily Teams catch-ups, and submit end-of-day progress reports.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Software Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud—specifically Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • InDesign Production Features: Practical experience utilizing InDesign Mail Merge, style sheets (paragraph/character styles), and master pages for high-volume artwork generation.
  • Pre-Press & Proofing Attention to Detail: Exceptional self-editing skills to catch typographical errors, incorrect pricing, and broken layout structures before upload.
  • Digital Image Optimization: Understanding of color modes (CMYK vs. RGB), image slicing in Photoshop, resolution standards (DPI/PPI), and web asset export settings.
  • Communication & Accountability: Ability to follow studio processes, respond to creative feedback, attend daily check-ins, and deliver structured end-of-day logs.


Preferred skills/expertise

  • Prior experience in a high-volume retail design studio, e-commerce brand, or marketing agency environment.
  • Hands-on experience using online PDF annotation platforms (e.g., ProofHQ/Workfront Proof, Ziflow, or PageProof).
  • Knowledge of retail ticketing systems, POS signage, or database-driven print automation.
  • Willingness to take feedback and adapt quickly in a fast-paced production setting.
