Position Summary We are seeking a talented and experienced Packaging and Accessories Designer to join our creative team and support the development of packaging and licensed products.

The main focus of this position will be packaging design, including packaging layouts, dielines, artwork, structural considerations, and production-ready files. The designer will also support the development of licensed accessories such as bags, purses, backpacks, lunch boxes, belts, and other similar products.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience creating packaging for consumer products and be comfortable working with licensed brands such as Disney and Marvel. They should understand how packaging is designed, prepared, and adapted for production, including how artwork works with folds, dimensions, dielines, and different packaging structures.

Experience with accessories design is a must, but strong packaging experience is the main requirement for this position.

The candidate should have 4+ years of experience in packaging, product design, accessories, or a related field, with a portfolio showing strong packaging work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop packaging for licensed consumer products.
  • Create packaging layouts, dielines, artwork, and production-ready files.
  • Apply brand guidelines and licensed artwork correctly to packaging designs.
  • Understand how packaging structures, folds, dimensions, and materials affect the final design.
  • Work closely with product development and sourcing teams to ensure packaging designs are practical, cost-effective, and ready for production.
  • Create packaging graphics, prints, patterns, and other artwork that support the product and brand.
  • Support the design of licensed accessories such as bags, backpacks, lunch boxes, belts, and similar products when needed.
  • Work with licenses such as Disney and Marvel while following their style guides and approval requirements.
  • Communicate clearly throughout all project stages and provide detailed handovers.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with product development, sourcing, licensing, and other cross-functional teams
Requirements (Must-Have)
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in packaging and accessories design.
  • Strong portfolio showing previous packaging and accessories design work.
  • Strong understanding of packaging layouts, dielines, folds, dimensions, and packaging structures.
  • Experience preparing artwork for production and working with factories or manufacturers.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience with packaging materials, printing methods, and production processes.
  • Experience with licensed products and knowledge of licensing guidelines.
  • Accessories design experience is a must.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working B2B, with startup companies, and American clients.
Technical Skills (Required)
  • Strong packaging design experience.
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Packaging layout and artwork creation.
  • Dieline creation and artwork placement.
  • Understanding of packaging structures, folds, dimensions, and construction.
