Personal & Executive Assistant

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Africa, Philippines

About the Role

The client runs her own app development studio and is currently a lean team of one. She's looking for a Personal & Executive Assistant to take routine scheduling, communication, and life-admin tasks off her plate — with the flexibility to shift further toward personal support later this year if she transitions into a corporate role. The right candidate is comfortable moving between business and personal tasks and doesn't need heavy hand-holding to figure out logistics.

Core Responsibilities

Scheduling & Communication

•     Manage calendar and scheduling across business and personal commitments

•     Light inbox support and email management (low volume — no heavy customer-facing inbox)

•     Occasionally liaise with third parties on Amy's behalf (text/call/WhatsApp) when given access

Travel & Events

•     Book and coordinate travel — flights, accommodation — for both business and personal trips

•     Handle restaurant bookings and event/appointment coordination

Personal Support

•     Book doctor's appointments, gym sessions, and other personal errands

•     Handle groceries and other day-to-day logistics as needed

•     Remind about and help source gifts for important dates

Ad Hoc / Research

•     Light research to help Amy stay on top of industry/market developments

•     Pull together options and information to support her decision-making

Social Media (Light Touch)

•     Surface-level support only — scheduling/posting content, basic captions, occasional DM replies

•     Not a core specialist requirement — no dedicated social media management expected

Not Required for This Role

•     Finance, bookkeeping, or invoicing

•     Vendor management or vendor research

•     Specialist/strategic social media management

Ideal Candidate

•     3–4+ years of experience as an EA/PA or similar

•     Comfortable supporting both business and personal tasks, and open to that balance shifting over time

•     Based in South Africa or the Philippines

•     Proficient with Google Workspace

•     Trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable with shared account access under an NDA

•     Self-sufficient — able to research and propose options rather than needing detailed instructions
