Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud</li><li>Comply with and reinforce all safety and sanitation regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management</li><li>Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated</li><li>Maintain departmental standards including keeping clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas</li><li>Understand and follow the company guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of non-legend drugs</li><li>Complete all aspects of allowable inventory control, including shelf maintenance</li><li>Answer phone and triage calls and answer inquires as appropriate</li><li>Promote sales and services to customers and store associates</li><li>Understand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, limits on cash shortages and company shrink guidelines</li><li>Understand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss including tendering electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT and Gift Cards, as well as cash and check transactions</li><li>Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently performing all steps of release to patient and product dispensing, if allowable by state law</li><li>Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company’s policies regarding the same</li><li>Support company health and wellness initiatives</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.</li><li>Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.</li><li>Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.</li><li>Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.</li><li>Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.</li><li>Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>MINIMUM<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Must be 18 years of age</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information<br><br></li></ul><strong>DESIRED <br><br></strong><ul><li>Any previous comparable experience</li><li>Any experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier</li><li>Any experience with inventory control in a retail environment</li></ul>
