<strong>Job Title: Procurement Specialist 4</strong><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>This contract role offers an opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to provide maternity leave coverage, with the possibility of extension. You will lead sourcing strategy within defined categories, primarily in the facilities management space, and act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders. Working fully remotely on EST/CST hours, you will manage key sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and procurement processes to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods and services.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of category and sub-category sourcing strategies for goods and services, particularly within the facilities management industry.</li><li>Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing plans and processes.</li><li>Maintain a detailed understanding of business drivers and how they impact overall business strategy and procurement decisions.</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices, providing guidance and advice to business areas.</li><li>Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and appropriate risk management.</li><li>Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key strategic suppliers and identify potential new partners to strengthen the supply base.</li><li>Monitor compliance with the organizations sourcing processes, acting as an internal consultant for each stage of the procurement lifecycle.</li><li>Create, manage, and optimize category or sub-category strategy plans and sourcing pipelines.</li><li>Oversee contract administration activities and ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and materials for management review.</li><li>Utilize procurement and sourcing tools such as Jaggaer, Corrigo, and CMMS systems to manage purchase orders, supplier data, and inventory-related activities.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facilities management sourcing needs and resolve procurement issues as they arise.</li><li>Apply strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate terms, and recommend optimal sourcing solutions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of prior contract and sourcing experience, preferably within the facilities management industry.</li><li>5+ years of experience in contract administration.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in procurement or purchasing, including sourcing techniques and supply chain management.</li><li>Previous hands-on experience with Jaggaer procurement systems.</li><li>Previous hands-on experience with Corrigo and CMMS platforms.</li><li>Experience working with purchase orders, SAP, and inventory-related processes.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships and contract discussions.</li><li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills to support strategic sourcing and supplier selection.</li><li>Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Corrigo and Aravo experience is highly desirable, with no specific minimum years required.</li><li>Previous facilities management experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and best practices.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple sourcing projects and priorities.</li><li>Comfort with virtual collaboration tools and remote stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Experience acting as an internal consultant on procurement processes and compliance.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment<br><br></strong>This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the country, with a preference for working standard EST or CST business hours. The typical shift runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and interviews are conducted virtually in 12 rounds. You will work in a digital, technology-enabled procurement environment using tools such as Jaggaer, Corrigo, CMMS systems, SAP, and other sourcing and inventory platforms. The position is initially structured as a contract to provide maternity leave coverage, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
