Key Responsibilities • Perform accurate and timely bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. • Manage payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, benefits, and tax filings in compliance with relevant regulations. • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients. • Maintain digital records and financial documentation securely and in compliance with accounting standards. • Collaborate with clients to resolve financial discrepancies and answer inquiries regarding their accounts. • Provide recommendations to improve financial processes and internal controls. • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and payroll practices. Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and payroll systems. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping procedures, and payroll management. • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously in a remote environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client correspondence. Experience • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll services, preferably with exposure to freelance or remote work. • Experience working with small businesses, startups, or multiple client accounts is highly desirable.
