Remote Part-Time Senior Accountant – Australian Taxation

Our businesses specialise in promotional merchandise, corporate branding, uniforms & apparel, print solutions, custom sourcing, and import/export supply solutions.

We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a Part-Time Senior Accountant to join our growing remote Philippines team.


About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and knowledgeable Accountant with strong Australian taxation experience to provide part-time accounting and tax support to our business.
This is a high-level accounting role suited to someone who has solid experience working with Australian businesses and understands Australian taxation requirements, accounting practices, and compliance.
The successful candidate will work independently and be expected to provide accurate, reliable, and professional accounting support.

Location: Remote – Philippines
Employment Type: Part-Time / Independent Contractor
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week / 40 hours per month
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, approximately 2–3 hours per day

Required Skills

  • Proficiency and comfort with common business software and telecommunications technology and adaptability to new software/technologies as required. (Competence with Microsoft Office required, Google Mail and Google Docs preferred.)

  • Proficiency with (or the skillset to quickly become proficient with) cloud bookkeeping software such as Xero, QuickBooks, etc.

  • The ability to cleanup improperly maintained bookkeeping and advise clients on how to improve financial accounting.

  • You are laser focused on client service and satisfaction.

  • You have strong written and oral English communication and presentation skills.

  • You have strong prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task.

  • You are a self-starter, work well independently, and make all your deadlines.

  • You are trustworthy and committed to the protection of confidential information.

  • Your personal working environment includes a secure, appropriately provisioned workstation with adequate bandwidth.


Education and Training

A college degree and/or substantial professional training in one or more of the following, or closely-related areas:

  • Accounting

  • Finance

  • Business Management


Organizational Set-up

  • The Accountant reports directly to the Managing Director, until specified otherwise.

  • The Accountant will be hired as a Contractor.

  • The Contractor will work remotely based on a fixed schedule and number of hours per week.

  • The Contractor will be responsible for his/her own optimal and secure computer and headset, as well as a strong and reliable internet connection.
