Senior Accountant (with QBO & NetSuite Experience)

Location: Remote (Philippines Preferred)

Schedule: Full-Time (40+ hours per week, depending on business needs)

Time (CST) ROLE OVERVIEW

If you love clean books, clear systems, and owning client relationships end-to-end, this role is for you. As a Senior Accounting Associate, you'll own your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients, manage day-to-day accounting execution, and serve as a primary point of contact for client questions. This is a client-facing role built for an experienced QuickBooks and NetSuite professional who can work independently, communicate clearly, and keep books clean with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Client Bookkeeping Ownership

Manage an assigned portfolio of bookkeeping clients

Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and NetSuite

Ensure accurate transaction categorization, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Maintain clean, audit-ready books aligned with firm standards Client Communication & Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for bookkeeping clients

Communicate professionally regarding transactions, questions, and follow-ups

Proactively request missing information and resolve discrepancies

Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining client confidence Bookkeeping Administration

Complete bookkeeping-related administrative tasks including transaction reviews, reconciliations, and documentation

Maintain organized workpapers and supporting schedules

Track deadlines across multiple clients

Follow established bookkeeping workflows consistently Quality Control & Team Collaboration

Maintain high accuracy across all client files

Collaborate with tax and internal team members when needed

Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

Demonstrate accountability, responsiveness, and attention to detail REQUIREMENTS

3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

Extensive experience using QuickBooks Online

Previous hands-on experience using NetSuite is REQUIRED

Strong understanding of reconciliations, transaction categorization, and financial reporting

Experience managing bookkeeping clients independently

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Stable internet connection and a quiet remote work environment

Comfortable using a time-tracking tool while working

Able to work independently and follow established processes consistently IMPORTANT: Candidates must have hands-on NetSuite experience to be considered for this role.
