As a Senior Accounting Associate, you will be part of our Accounting and Financial Operations team, which plays a critical role in supporting our business strategy and ensuring the financial health of our organization. Job Summary The Credit-to-Money Business Tasks Group, which includes the Gatherings, Shows, and Occasion Charging team, provides accounting and financial services to Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. As a Senior Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing, reporting, and invoicing for housing and catered events held at Walt Disney World Hotels and Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa. You will work closely with Catering and Show Sales and Services, Corporate Credit and Collections teams to ensure that contractual arrangements are implemented accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Perform daily reviews of rooms and event functions to ensure accurate billing and invoicing. Guarantee that all charging requirements outlined in contractual agreements are met. Investigate and correct billing errors and discrepancies. Communicate with clients, service managers, functional billers, and leadership to design, review event results, and resolve issues. Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, division charging principles, and service level agreements. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Occasionally conduct bill reviews with guests, resolve questions, and work with changes. Essential Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Solid quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at all levels. Understanding of financial risks and ability to develop adequate controls. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Sense of responsibility and ability to work with deadlines. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Knowledge and ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Reporting. Minimum one-year commitment to the role. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of event and housing technology. Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel. Experience working in the hospitality or financial industry.
