Senior Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Developer & Automation Expert with strong hands-on expertise in n8n to design, build, and own end-to-end automations and data workflows across our business. This is a mid-to-senior role for a proper developer and automations expert who brings solid software architecture experience, comfort working across multiple databases, and a disciplined approach to documentation. The ideal candidate takes full ownership of automation projects from concept through deployment and thrives on building dependable, well-structured systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own automation projects A to Z — from planning through deployment and ongoing maintenance
  • Integrate and connect tools across our stack, including Supabase, Airtable, and GreenAPI
  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation workflows using n8n
  • Architect and manage databases
  • Handle data engineering tasks and make sure clean, reliable data flows across systems
  • Write clear, thorough documentation for every development and workflow
  • Apply CI/CD best practices to deployment and release processes
  • Use Git for version control and collaborative development
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing automations and data pipelines
Mandatory Skills:
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Solid software architecture experience
  • Experience working with multiple databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB, Supabase)
  • Strong experience building automations and workflows in n8n
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and processes
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
  • Strong data engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation
  • Dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Airtable
  • Background building automations across multiple business functions
  • Ability to manage multiple development projects at once
  • Proven track record owning full development lifecycles independently
