Bhima Jewellery is a well-established Indian jewellery brand with a strong legacy in the jewellery retail industry. As we expand our presence in Singapore, we are looking for an experienced and people-focused Senior HR Associate to become an integral part of our growing team.

π― About the Role
As a Senior HR Associate , you will support the complete employee lifecycle for Bhima Singapore, covering HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, compliance, employee engagement and learning & development .
You will work closely with the Singapore showroom management team and the corporate HR team in India to ensure smooth, consistent and employee-focused HR practices.
π Key Responsibilitiesπ₯ HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for Singapore employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, contracts and documentation.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including joining, transfers, confirmations, promotions, resignations and exits.
- Prepare and issue HR letters and employee-related documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, overtime and employee movement records.
- Prepare HR MIS, dashboards and regular HR reports.
- Coordinate recruitment for sales, customer service, retail operations and support functions.
- Source candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, referrals and other suitable channels.
- Screen profiles and conduct preliminary interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely follow-up.
- Manage offers, documentation, background verification and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and monitor manpower requirements against approved headcount.
- Support manpower planning for showroom operations and future business expansion.
- Support HR processes in line with applicable Singapore employment requirements.
- Coordinate work-pass documentation and related processes with internal teams and external agencies.
- Maintain employee documentation required for statutory and regulatory purposes.
- Support compliance related to employment contracts, working hours, leave, payroll, benefits and other applicable requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant changes in Singapore employment regulations and highlight important updates to management.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions, new joiners and exits.
- Work closely with Finance, payroll teams and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Support CPF-related payroll coordination and employee queries.
- Maintain records relating to employee benefits and insurance.
- Coordinate and resolve payroll and benefits-related queries.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
- Support the resolution of employee queries, grievances and workplace concerns.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for employee relations matters.
- Assist management with disciplinary and performance-related processes.
- Promote a positive, professional and respectful workplace culture.
- Manage the complete onboarding journey for new employees.
- Conduct HR induction and explain company policies, benefits, attendance, leave and workplace expectations.
- Coordinate joining documentation and employee orientation.
- Ensure new employees have a smooth transition into their roles.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and showroom/team activities.
- Coordinate training programs for Singapore employees in collaboration with the L&D team.
- Maintain training calendars, attendance records, assessments and training reports.
- Support product knowledge, sales, customer service and behavioral training initiatives.
- Identify training needs and coordinate appropriate development programs.
- 3β5 years of relevant HR experience , preferably in retail, jewellery, luxury retail, premium retail or a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Strong experience in HR operations and recruitment .
- Good understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration.
- Knowledge of Singapore HR and employment practices will be an advantage.
- Experience coordinating payroll, CPF, benefits and employee records is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with management and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRMS, Microsoft Office and HR reporting tools.
- A proactive, professional and employee-focused approach.
- Candidates must have the appropriate authorization to work in Singapore.
