Role:Senior Internal Auditor – Risk Consulting

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Location: Philippines - Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga (Angeles)/Cebu

Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description:

Client Engagement:

  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses to tailor audit strategies.
  • Maintain and foster positive client relationships.
Audit Operations & Compliance:
  • Plan and execute internal audit engagements, identifying risks to determine the audit strategy.
  • Perform operational, financial, and compliance audits across various industries including Public, NFP, and private sectors.
  • Prepare audit reports with key findings, risk implications, and recommended actions.
  • Ensure audit files comply with Internal Audit Methodology.
  • Address Manager and Principal review points promptly.
  • Complete audits within deadlines and budget constraints, reporting variances as needed.
  • Stay updated on relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Business Growth & Development:
  • Represent the company in industry and business activities to attract new clients.
Qualifications and requirements:
  • A member of or qualified as a Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CA and/or CISA certification (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • While years of experience are flexible, ideally looking for around 5 years of experience with big four or tier two firms.
  • Primary focus is on variety of engagements completed rather than strictly years of service.
  • Background in operational, financial, and compliance internal audits.
  • Experience handling clients within the Public sector, Non-Profit (NFP), or general private corporate sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience in writing internal audit recommendations and reports.
Additional Information:
  • The role aligns with Australian business hours.
  • CIA certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
