Work days per week: 5 days/week (Sunday to Thursday)

Position overview

We are seeking an experienced senior mechanical supervisor to oversee mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, and/or commissioning activities within an LNG/oil & gas environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise all mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities on site.
  • Oversee mechanical equipment, piping, static and rotating equipment, and related field activities.
  • Manage contractors, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, quality standards, technical specifications, and project schedules.
  • Provide leadership and coordination to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or major industrial projects.
  • Extensive experience supervising mechanical equipment, piping, static and rotating equipment, and related on-site activities.
  • Proven experience managing contractors and ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, technical requirements, and project timelines.
  • Previous experience in Qatar or with major LNG operators is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and site supervision skills.
