We need from Srilanka, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, England, Bangladesh, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe or someone who have knowledge on cricket, or Indian Premier League.

We're looking for a Senior Sports Content Writer who is deeply passionate about sports and understands the industry beyond basic reporting. This role requires someone who follows sports closely, understands audiences, identifies trends early, and can create high-quality sports content at scale.

The ideal candidate should combine strong sports knowledge with editorial skills, research ability, and an understanding of modern content strategies.

Core Skills

● Deep knowledge of one or more major sports and a strong understanding of sports culture, players, teams, tournaments, and historical context.

● A genuine sports enthusiast who actively follows sports news, events, statistics, and industry developments.

● Ability to analyze matches, provide insights, create previews, reviews, and detailed post-event analysis.

● Strong understanding of sports trends, audience interests, and what drives engagement in the sports market.

● Ability to identify emerging stories, viral topics, and content opportunities before they become widely covered.

● Strong memory and awareness of sports records, historical moments, player achievements, statistics, and relevant context to create timely and authoritative content.

● Experience producing sports news, analysis, and large-scale sports content.

● Understanding of content automation, programmatic SEO, and conditional content logic for Pre-event content, Live updates, Post-event analysis, Dynamic sports pages

● Experience working with sports media platforms, sports entertainment companies, content agencies, or similar environments.

What We're Looking For

● Proven experience as a sports writer, editor, journalist, or content specialist with a portfolio of work including ranking URLs.

● Ability to research quickly and produce accurate, engaging content under time-sensitive situations.

● Strong understanding of sports storytelling and how to make content valuable for fans.

● Ability to write different formats such as Breaking sports news, Match previews, Match reviews, Player profiles, Historical articles, Analysis pieces, Trending sports stories, Long-form sports features etc..

● Comfortable handling high-volume content requirements while maintaining quality and accuracy.

● Ability to adapt writing style across different sports, audiences, and platforms.

● Comfortable working with CMS platforms, content workflows, and editorial processes.
