Startup Events Intern (Paid)

Startup Hub PH is a community-driven platform that connects startup founders, investors, innovators, and ecosystem enablers across the Philippines. We provide opportunities for networking, learning, collaboration, and growth through events, programs, and partnerships that support the country's startup ecosystem.

As Startup Hub PH continues to grow, we are partnering with a leading co-working space to host founder meetups, startup workshops, networking events, and ecosystem gatherings. At the same time, we are actively building and supporting the Philippine climate tech ecosystem through accelerator programs, founder support initiatives, and community-building activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to startups, innovation, venture building, and community development.

Location: Hybrid (Metro Manila)

Type: Paid Internship / Contract-Based

Duration: Flexible based on internship requirements

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Startup Events Intern to support the planning, promotion, and execution of startup-focused events and community activities.

You will work closely with founders, startup ecosystem leaders, partners, sponsors, and community members while gaining practical experience in event management, marketing, partnerships, and community building.

This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates interested in startups, entrepreneurship, innovation, marketing, and event management.

  • Assist in planning and executing startup events, workshops, founder meetups, and networking sessions
  • Coordinate event logistics, registrations, venue requirements, and participant communications
  • Design marketing and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools
  • Create and schedule social media content to promote events and community activities
  • Support outreach efforts to speakers, partners, sponsors, and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Respond to attendee inquiries and provide event support before, during, and after events
  • Assist in documenting events through photos, videos, and post-event reports
  • Collect participant feedback and contribute to post-event analysis and improvement recommendations
  • Support community-building initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to learn
  • Passion for startups, entrepreneurship, innovation, climate tech, or community building
