Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Startup Products team builds Stripe Atlas and other products that help founders start and run a company, from anywhere in the world. We believe that startups are one of the most effective ways to solve the world's problems, and we want to give founders a running start — and keep them running. We help founders form their company, raise capital, execute critical legal agreements, access the internet's best tools, and automate operations while feeling ambitious, smart, and assured. Our goal is to create more startups that get to product-market fit, fast.

Our team is composed of high-agency, high-ownership product thinkers, who genuinely care about helping founders and making it easier to start and run a startup. Every person on the team is responsible for making our product the best it can be, and for ensuring our roadmap contains the highest impact ships for founders.

What you’ll do

As a Strategy & Operations team member on the Startup Products team, you’ll help us understand and talk about the startups that use our products, turning data into clear internal and external narratives, and use analysis to shape strategy and product priorities. You’ll own high-signal metrics and dashboards while also leading deep dives that explain what is changing, why it matters, and what we should do next.

Responsibilities

  • Delve into the data to glean new insights about how users use our products and how they are building their businesses on Stripe
  • Package insights into external-facing content, driving our public storytelling about our users and the startup market, in partnership with marketing and communications.
  • Analyze product performance, identify trends and anomalies, diagnose drivers, and translate findings into concrete recommendations and synthesis to share with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead analytical deep dives on strategic questions, new product opportunities, founder segments, growth drivers, and the impact of launches or operational changes.
  • Contribute to product and business strategy by sizing opportunities, testing assumptions, evaluating tradeoffs, and helping prioritize the roadmap.
  • Help us build and maintain a streamlined set of internal dashboards to help us understand user behavior and product usage.
