Team Manager/Operations Manager

Location: Sunbury, Surrey Salary: £42,000-£50,000 DOE plus benefits package Summary: Working Monday to Friday days. We are looking for a driven and hands-on Team Manager/Operation Manager to lead a 3PL operation within a fast-paced, multi-user FMCG site. You will be client facing in this role. This role reports directly to the Site Manager. This role spans ambient, chilled, and frozen environments, requiring someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and can adapt quickly while maintaining high standards of performance and safety. You'll be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a diverse team, ensuring operational efficiency while delivering outstanding service to multiple clients. This is an opportunity for someone who doesn't just manage but wants to lean, grow and develop. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team a 3pl FMCG operation Drive performance, productivity, and service levels across a multi-client site Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance, and quality Act as a hands-on leader, actively supporting day-to-day operations Build a strong team culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver operational excellence Key Skills/Experience: Proven experience in a Team Manager (or similar) role within 3PL FMCG environment Strong people leadership skills with a passion for developing others Experience working in multi-temperature environments A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front Excellent communication and organisational skills and used to dealing with the clients A proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and drive improvements Someone who brings energy, positivity, and the ambition to grow and developProcessing Your Data Bis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
