Responsibilities

Provide physical, emotional, and social care to nursing home residents by supporting therapy delivery, supervising daily living activities, and ensuring safety during rehabilitation.

Job Description

  • Assist therapists to deliver therapy exercise according to care plan
  • Supervise the elderly in practising activities of daily living
  • Facilitate small group activities and conduct bedside therapy exercise
  • Maintain, clean and sterilize rehabilitation equipment
  • Ensure safety of the elderly during rehabilitation sessions
  • Assist with feeding residents
  • Administrative duties
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Certificate in Therapy Support
  • Passionate in caring for the elderly.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to commit work schedule Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday (half day)
