UK-Based B2B Appointment Setter — Financial Services (Fixed Hourly, Booking-Only)
We run a managed outbound programme for clients in UK financial services and are adding a dedicated calling layer.
We're looking for one experienced UK-based appointment setter to work a researched, signal-led list through to booked discovery calls.
To apply, start your reply with the word "Introduced" so I know you've read this properly.
We're hiring an individual freelancer for this role — not an agency, a managed team, or a bench.
To be clear about what this is: these are cold calls into a well-briefed list, not warm introductions. Every contact is researched and comes with full context and a reason for the call — but the person on the other end isn't expecting you. If cold conversations with senior buyers aren't your strength, this isn't the role.
This is a fixed hourly role — flat rate, no commission and no per-booking bonuses. We reward performance with more hours, not commission, so please only apply if a straight hourly rate works for you.
This role is booking-only. Contacts, full context and phone numbers are all supplied — there is no list-building or data-sourcing required on your side; that's handled in-house. Your job is the call and the booking, nothing else.
What we need:
- UK-based, native-level spoken English — non-negotiable, these are senior UK conversations
- Comfortable cold-calling senior B2B decision-makers (C-level / heads of department). Financial-services or other regulated-B2B experience is a strong plus; direct insurance experience is welcome but not essential — we brief the domain thoroughly
- A professional, consultative phone manner — this is quality-first, low-volume outreach to senior buyers, not high-volume dialling. We care about the right conversations, not the number of dials
- Defined, reliable weekly availability — we need a protected weekly slot, not "as and when"
- Books the meeting, never sells — detailed questions are routed back to us; you're setting a discovery call, not closing
How it works:
- Flat hourly rate, no commission — performance is rewarded with more hours, not per-booking incentives
- Researched contacts with full context and numbers supplied each week
- A short call framework provided; you make it your own
- Starts small (2–4 hrs/week), growing as the campaign proves out
- Structured initially as a paid trial period, so it's a fit both ways
Please answer these three questions in your reply:
1. Describe a time you booked a meeting with a senior/C-level buyer in financial services or a regulated industry — what was your approach?
2. What weekly hours can you reliably commit to, and on which days?
3. This role is booking-only, on a flat hourly rate with no commission. Is that something you're genuinely happy with, and why?
