Virtual Interior Designer (SketchUp Expert) | Contract Position

I'm looking for an experienced interior designer to support my design studio with virtual design work. This role is best suited for someone who is technically strong, detail-obsessed, and comfortable working independently.

This is not a full-time role. Hours will be contract-based and unpredictable depending on project flow. Please only apply if flexibility truly works for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating detailed SketchUp models and layouts
  • Producing clear, professional design drawings
  • Developing mood boards and concept presentations
  • Supporting residential design projects for North American clients

Must-Have Skills

  • Very high proficiency in SketchUp and Layout
  • Strong technical drawing skills
  • Experience creating mood boards
  • Solid understanding of interior design principles (not just making things look pretty)
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards relevant to interior design projects.

Required

  • Experience creating North American construction drawings
  • Familiarity with residential construction standards in the U.S.A
  • Enscape rendering skills
